I have managed Adult Foster Homes that provide level II care. I've also taken care of individuals who suffered from dementia, and a family member who was terminal. It was the passing of my family member that got me into caregiving. Prior to that I worked as a hospital unit coordinator for five years, covering both the Oncology and Respitory units. I have taken the eight week CNA course, Food Handlers card, CPR, and Fire/Safety training.Caregiving is a very rewarding experience for me. My brother is an RN, so it is in the blood.
